1. What is the difference between NM400, NM450 and NM500? How to choose the right model?

The core difference is hardness and wear resistance: 

NM400 (360-440 HB) for medium wear, cost-effective; 

NM450 (410-490 HB) for medium-heavy wear, balancing performance and cost; 

NM500 (470-530 HB) for heavy wear and high impact. 

We recommend models based on your working conditions: light abrasion (e.g., conveyors) → NM400; moderate impact (e.g., loader shovels) → NM450; heavy abrasion (e.g., crusher liners) → NM500.

2. Are NM series plates compatible with international similar grades (e.g., HARDOX 400)? Can they be used interchangeably?

Yes. Our NM400 is equivalent to HARDOX 400, AR400; NM450 is equivalent to HARDOX 450, AR450; NM500 is equivalent to HARDOX 500, AR500.

3. Can I customize the thickness, width, length and notch impact energy?

5. How to ensure the hardness and wear resistance of the plates?

We implement full-process quality control: strict inspection of raw materials → precise control of quenching and tempering process → post-production hardness test, wear resistance test and impact test. Each batch of products must pass these inspections before delivery, and we can provide test reports for verification.

6. Is the packaging suitable for long-distance sea transportation? Will the plates be damaged?

Yes. Our packaging is specially designed for ocean shipping: each plate is wrapped with waterproof film and anti-scratch paper, with steel edge protection to avoid collision, and placed on fumigated wooden pallets to prevent deformation. The damage rate during transportation is extremely low (less than 0.5%).

7. What if there is a quality problem (e.g., insufficient hardness, poor wear resistance) after receiving the goods?
