Stainless Steel Wire

Stainless Steel Wire

Stainless steel wire is a high-performance metal wire product made from high-quality stainless steel alloys, mainly including grades 304, 316, 201, etc. It features excellent corrosion resistance, rust prevention, high tensile strength, good toughness and ductility.
It is heat-resistant, wear-resistant, non-magnetic or weakly magnetic, with stable performance and long service life. Through precision drawing process, it has uniform diameter, smooth surface and stable dimension.
This product is widely used in weaving wire mesh, manufacturing springs, fasteners, wire ropes, handicrafts, kitchen accessories, filtering equipment and industrial components, meeting the requirements of construction, food, medical, marine and mechanical industries.

    Product Overview

Stainless steel wire is a versatile, cold-finished product manufactured from hot-rolled stainless steel wire rod through a series of cold drawing processes. As one of the four major steel product forms—plate, tube, section, and wire—stainless steel wire offers exceptional corrosion resistance, mechanical properties, and surface finish quality .

Our stainless steel wire is produced to meet the demanding requirements of various industries, providing excellent strength, ductility, and durability in both ambient and corrosive environments. The material's inherent chromium oxide layer provides self-healing corrosion protection by isolating oxygen from the underlying metal.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions for Stainless Steel Wire)

    • Q: What is the shelf life of your stainless steel wire, and how should it be stored to avoid quality degradation?

A: Under proper storage conditions, our stainless steel wire has a shelf life of 12-24 months. It should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse away from moisture, acid, alkali and other corrosive substances. Avoid direct sunlight and heavy pressure on the coils. For long-term storage, we recommend applying a thin layer of anti-rust oil (without affecting subsequent processing) to further prevent oxidation.

    • Q: Is there any difference in the price of stainless steel wire for different surface treatments, and does it affect the processing cost?

A: The price varies slightly according to different surface treatments: bright surface wire is slightly higher than matte surface due to additional polishing processes; annealed wire is more cost-effective than pickled wire. However, the difference is within 5-10%, and it will not significantly increase your overall purchasing cost. In addition, different surface treatments do not affect the subsequent processing cost, as they all maintain good machinability.

    • Q: Do you accept mixed orders of stainless steel wire with different surface treatments or packaging?

A: Yes, we accept mixed orders. You can mix different surface treatments (bright, matte, annealed) in one order, as long as the total order quantity meets the MOQ. For packaging, we can also provide mixed packaging (some coils in wooden pallets, some in steel drums) according to your needs, which is convenient for your subsequent use and storage.

    • Q: Can you provide a quality guarantee for stainless steel wire, and what is the scope of the guarantee?

A: We provide a 6-month quality guarantee for all stainless steel wire products. The guarantee scope includes quality problems caused by our production (such as oxidation, breakage without external force, uneven surface). It does not cover damage caused by improper storage, incorrect processing, or external force. If quality problems occur within the guarantee period, we will provide free replacement or compensation.

    • Q: What should I do if the stainless steel wire has quality problems (such as rust, uneven diameter) after receipt?

A: Please take photos/videos of the defective products and contact us within 7 working days of receiving the goods. We will verify the problem immediately with our quality inspection department. If it is confirmed to be our quality issue, we will provide solutions such as free replacement, full refund, or compensation according to your needs, ensuring your legitimate rights and interests are protected.
